Fillers are cosmetic injections used to plump lips, enhance cheeks, and soften smile lines. Dr. Barnett uses a number of fillers, including Juvéderm®, Radiesse®, and Sculptra® to help restore volume in the face and achieve a more youthful appearance. Most fillers contain hyaluronic acid, a naturally-occurring substance found in the skin that plumps wrinkles and fine lines, tear-throughs, and other problem areas. Fillers are also commonly used to enhance the fullness of the lips with very few side effects. Some patients see results that last six to 12 months.
